Harvested when they are still green at a precise moment of their maturation and following the lunar calendar, Casalvento produces them certified organic. These galbules take 2 years to reach full maturation and release the winged seeds (called achenes). In the heart of Chianti we wanted to pay special attention to this botany by specializing in the harvesting of the berry of a specific type of cypress because it is more aromatic and rich in essential oils than other cultivars. The cypress bud extract has toning properties on the vascular endothelium while the essential oil is balsamic and the absolute has a more pronounced resinous consistency
