The name helichrysum in ancient Greek translates as “friend of the sun” because it has a yellow flower and loves sunny soil. The use of this botanical in liquor is very widespread, it gives warm and “leather” olfactory notes to the spirits; but it’s not just this: it manages to bind the aromas of other botanicals in a special balance.
